Coons Aggregate Supply is a division of Wissota Sand & Gravel.

Wissota purchased Ripley Sand & Gravel in 1970 and renamed the company Twin Ports Aggregate. We operated in a pit one mile west of our current location on Canosia Road until 1990, when the reserves in that pit became exhausted. In 1991 we commenced operations in our current pit under the Coons Aggregate Supply name. This move has enabled us to produce high quality washed sand and gravel that supplies the local ready mix, concrete block and building industries. We currently have reserves that will be able to service the Duluth/Superior markets for another 50 years.

We are located on the corner of Hwy 194 and Canosia Road in the town of Solway, MN in St. Louis County. Our location is approximately 15 miles from downtown Duluth and 20 miles from downtown Superior.
